Interested in sewing, knitting, quilting, stitching, crochet , tatting or using fabric to make art by collage or dyeing?
While primarily meeting to support each other while working on our own projects, the group will also learn about the world of textiles with presentations by members, followed by discussion. There will be occasional workshops and visits to galleries and exhibitions.
The main idea is to be around like minded makers, who appreciate the role of textiles in society and are keen to learn more about techniques, the history of textiles and the wonderful, colourful world of fibre.
