January 16th 2026 Meeting:
EGM: It has come to the Executive’s attention that the Election General Meeting held on Friday November 21st 2025 was invalid, as written notice to members was not sent out 20 working days prior to the election meeting date. This requires that a new election will take place on the date stated above, January 16th 2026 being the 3rd Friday of January.
Venue: Tauranga Yacht Club venue, 90 Keith Allen Drive, Sulphur Point.
Time: 9:45am for 10:00am start through to 12:00 noon
It would be appreciated if your attendance at this meeting could be confirmed to establish a quorum of 50 financial members and for catering purposes.
Entry Fee: $5.00, to cover morning-tea and Venue.

Plague was one of the hazards of life in Britain from the 14th century onwards and started with its dramatic appearance in 1348 with the ‘Black Death’. Half of Europe’s population was wiped out. No vaccinations, no antibiotics, no knowledge of how disease spreads. How did they cope?
