When Alan Freer and I visited the Drama Group we were entertained by a very enthusiastic group of up and coming actresses; who on spying Alan thought they had at last another male in their group. Sorry to disappoint - we were only there to take photos, not to participate!

Jean Davis (tutor) starts the session with exercises such as stretching the neck, breathing, relaxation, diction and performing actions, followed by a story enacted out by each member. To create a tale around an article is quite a difficult discipline, but Jean has certainly made her students use their imagination and skill. Everyone in this group appears to be so relaxed and focused on their ability to perform which often causes much laughter at the antics of the performers.
