Group of the Month: Nature Study Group
Conveners of the Nature Study Group, Ken and Kath Rose, have prepared an excellent programme of walks for the year 2010. The first outing in February was a walk through the Redwoods at Rotorua followed by a visit to the Birds of Prey Trust, The Wingspan Centre near Ngongotaha.
Programme details are very explicit, giving the time, place and duration of the walk, and also the cost of transport and, should it apply, the charge for entry into a reserve.
A lively group of approximately 20 members; do come and see what it is all about, I assure you you will have plenty of fun and not too much hard walking!
