BUILDING YOUR OWN COFFIN
The suggestion for this group came from the publicity on TV, radio and Newspapers about Rotorua U3A who formed their group in Feb 2010, and have generously sent us their plans, specifications, and designs. Some members may be appalled by this idea but to others it will be a challenge and a special project.
So where are WE up to??

We have 7 interested members
We have the offer of a garage/workshop
What else do we need?
- A person to kitset the coffins from MDF13-mm wood.
- A member who has the skills, equipment and space who would be willing to do this?
If you are interested in this group, or can help, please contact Thelma Cane, Ph 574-6222.

AN APOLOGY.

I apologise to the Weekend Sun Newspaper for my entry in the ‘Hot Topic’ column in our June newsletter.
I implied they may have their facts wrong in the write-up for the U3A Art Exhibition.
However, it was not the Weekend Sun, rather another newspaper who had placed the article and I meant no slur on either the Weekend Sun or its reporters.
